Padosii is a simple, calm app that helps neighbours ask, share what they know and do things together.
Why Padosii exists.
Much of what makes a neighbourhood work lives with its people: who teaches maths well, which CA explains clearly, who plays badminton early on Sunday. Usually it stays in someone's memory or a busy group chat.
Padosii gives that knowledge a calm, lasting place inside your own neighbourhood, and makes it easy to do things with the people around you.
What we want it to be.
- Resident-first
- Padosii is made for residents. It does not start from gates, administration or payments, and it is not something anyone has to use because their society says so.
- Simple and calm
- A few useful things, done well. No feeds to scroll, no followers and no noise.
- Useful every day
- Finding someone good, sharing what you know, and doing things with the people around you.
- Honest
- Suggestions come from neighbours, and Padosii says so plainly: verify before hiring. Nobody pays to be listed.
Why the name.
Padosi is the Hindi word for neighbour. The two i's in Padosii are two neighbours, side by side.

- Padosii is a simple app for residents of selected neighbourhoods in India. Residents ask neighbours when they need help, suggest people they know, find contacts their neighbours have already shared, and start or join local activities with people who live nearby. Suggestions are checked before they are added, nobody pays to be listed, and Padosii charges no commission.

- Padosii is available in selected neighbourhoods and expanding neighbourhood by neighbourhood. If your neighbourhood is not on Padosii yet, you can request it in the app.
